Vivid colors of autumn in New England, the spectacular rocky coastlines, majestic mountains, delicious seafood, and friendly people attract millions of visitors to the region each year. These six states of New England, located in scenic northeastern U.S., are perfect for travel, especially from May to October. Since winters are very cold and snowy, the plan of the unit in the warmer months, when roads are safe and the scenery is at its best. Many travelers plan their units in October, when fall foliage is spectacular.

This driving tour of New England has many of the regional highlights. It will take you around two weeks and the total distance is about 800 kilometers.

Boston Before you start your drive, take a day or two to take a look around Boston. The White Mountains the next day drive takes you to the scenic White Mountains in New Hampshire (116 miles). Along the way, you will pass through North Conway, where you can take a trip of 11 miles through the mountains on the Conway Scenic Railroad or may go to Mount Washington for a strong increase of the top of the highest peak in the state. Plan to stay for a couple of nights. The Resort Rivergreen, riverside Pemigewassett, near Lincoln has plenty of family activities throughout the year.

The green mountains or on the fifth day, the 145-mile journey takes him to the Green Mountains in Vermont.
