Frugal Summer Fun for Kids?

Hi, everyone, I am a busy mother of four, I consider myself frugal particially. I wonder what mother / Parents do when spending money in excess is not an option, but want happy children. My main goal is to keep your summer fun and education. We as always participate in the library reading program, museum, zoo, and going to Great Adventure (free tickets for children to read during the year school), participating in all the various Boy Scout activities, final Bike, Skate, and recently bought a pool of $ 100 for an entire team, because the pool summer is $ 300 which is not an option we have to drive too, that does not work, we will continue to study summer for 2 hours four days a week, board games and when we finished, they are free to play your DS and PS2. What else can I do for my kids to have fun on limited funds?

~ Take them to parks and / or playgrounds in your city / town ~ schedule play dates "with friends ~ take some summer events in your city / ~ Bring people to the films they want to see on rainy days
