Century Biking Training

How much is too much excercise?
I know someone who has taken upon himself this year to become physically fit. Lost 50 pounds through diet and exercise has a personal trainer once a week, going to the gym a second time, then goes out dancing with his wife a third night of the week. What makes these things in the evenings and weekends. Recently bought a new road bike and have been taking as many times as possible, as well as these other things, and even can begin training for a century (100 mi trip). This takes up most nights of the week. MF It works a regular job. How much of your free time should be taken to make exercise? It looks great and still losing weight slowly. At some point this could be considered an obsession right? So how much is too much? He have a family with 2 children and should spend some time with them.
It sounds like this man is too much exercise – He is maintaining a style of healthy living and leisure activities that do not like. I commend him for his efforts – to lose 50 pounds. is not easy – and we encourage you to continue your program. I like the fact that a of your workouts includes his wife. Assuming that she loves to dance, is a great way to spend time outdoors together. But it is obvious that someone (your wife, perhaps?) thinks he's going overboard, and this can cause stress in your family, so it might be a good idea for him to think about how to balance all your activities. I think that one hour of exercise on weekdays is not too much, but you have to fit into the schedule of your family and balanced, with an hour off his wife to do whatever he wants. There are creative ways to do this, and you can include children as well. I used to run the games of my kids soccer when my husband drove them in the car. When were younger, we used a baby broker and a bike trailer. As I got older were able to pedal along a bike path or ride their own bike while running alongside. I took to the track and let me run and play with toys while I was doing laps, watching every minute, of course! My husband and I played soccer and basketball with them – you can get a better workout than you think to prosecute all those turnovers! Exercise equipment at home, such as a treadmill or a rowing machine, lets you set 10 or 20 or 30 minutes while they're busy with something else – and those few minutes total. And you have to take days off – they spend outdoors with children. Not every workout has to be methodical or drive. Out of the box. On weekends, because you can do exercises early in the morning, leaving the rest of the day for the family. Training for an endurance event such as a century ride only requires a long training week. During my years of increased competition, which swung a professional work, 3 little kids, and ski or run races over two seasons of the year. My plan Training: Every week, I tried to do a long easy training (2-4 hours), one or two "speed" (or range of tempo), training (up 1 hour) and strength training did not set the days for them – I took all the time I could get. I had some of my best results with this strategy simple. Yes, time with family is top priority. But consider this: by the health care, this man can extend his time with his family for years, instead of hours. He is to model healthy behaviors for their children. And by reducing staff stress and take time for yourself, it will be a happy husband, more relaxed and father. I wish this man happy and good luck training the ride of the century!
