century biking
think of riding my first century on a mountain bike?

ok here is the offer I can go 20 miles in just under an hour and a half and is not in fact more difficult with knobby tires with about 40 PSI. If you have any slick high-pressure tires and trained a bit you should be able completing a century in 9hrs including stops right? besides it does not matter if I travel alone most of the time know that the disease is slower in a sequel a note MTB road bike, I usually take the trails, but really want to ride at least a century in my life. I am a poor college student that money cannot buy a road bike for a ride so do not suggest that.

No problem. I do most of my triathlon training with my MTB local rails-to-Trails. That includes several sub-6 hour 100, even with knobbies. You will have some problems to stick with the team but not for a competition trip, which really does not matter. Remember also you're a boy. People did not even reach its peak in endurance sports until the early mid-30. You have a lot of time for centuries.
