What would The best season to travel is? Forgot to add, probably not from LA to San Francisco or perhaps all the way to San Francisco .. but alone extending
Late spring and early summer are good times to see the California coast because the weather is more stable. From San Francisco along the coast is a long trip. The Jeep would be the best. If you are in superior physical condition, go to the bike. The coast is very scenic hills and therefore is not casual, walk easy. Like the other response, through the bike in the back and take some trips. There are many bike trails up and down the coast. Hat, sunglasses sun, and the sweatshirt would be good too. I live is So Cal, so do not know too much of the northern coastal paths. I provided some links to trail you can afford. Enjoy the view!
