what each thing up and down a 13 year old should start mountain biking?

My little brother has never had a great gift birthday, and he is turning 13. loves rides mountain bikes and now my boyfriends pit bikes when we go around the track or riding in a parking lot. for his birthday this year I want to start working with his team and hopes to start saving for a bigger bike so you can learn to ride. I would like a list of things that might help you get started. thanks!

There is a lot of things to mountain biking, but some basic concepts for gear I wanted to get that helmet goggles gloves chest shirt pants and boots That's the basic safety equipment. This material can be very expensive and start adding. But that make you feel like a professional.
