Best Biking Roads Scotland
Looking for new bike. Whats best, lightweight etc?
I was 20 miles into a 55 mile bike ride yesterday for pedal for scotland when my pedal snapped. i continued with one pedal for the last 35 miles and was shattered when i got in. I realised that almost everyone was riding better bikes than me.
What materiel is best? Aluminium or CF?
What make is best?
Im looking for something for mainly road use but something that can go on grass if needed.
Also not looking to spend a fortune.
Your choice is huge.
Unless your spending loads go for Aluminium as it is light strong and durable.
The make is unimportant really since its the components which make the bike that matter.

and put in your price limits.
If I could only have one bike I would get a mountain bike and a spare set of wheels with road tyres on it.
Trek is best ( thats just my opinion )
