How do calories work?

Okay so If I’m running 5 miles a day and eating 1,400 calories does that mean I’m really only eating 900 calories since I burned those off or what? Should I be eating less? Im also really tired all the time, I also bike ride about 8-10 miles a day and do a 30 minute body sculpt.

If you run 5 miles and consume 1,400 calories, you will have 934 calories left over to support you in other activities of daily life. By adding in bicycling 9 miles a day, the net drops from 934 to 637. That is far too low to support normal daily life, such as working or school. If you want to keep that level of activity, you need to eat more to compensate.
