What size should I mountain bike cross-country and downhill??? The bicycle is the specialized enduro?

I'm 6'3 and long arms and legs. Several people told me the XL, but this is too big? I try set up a 07 specialized enduro bike xl and feels on the right. I think I on the big tower. I walk through the mountains and then down the corners, roots, clifffan trails, etc. .. It is best for the big bikek roads because of the tighter wheelbase and lower center of gravity or the XL better fit and therefore more important? Plus, what chest armor the body and carbon full face helmet is good? Something that is not too hot for full carbon hull and armor in the chest.

I am 5'-11 "and I am usually comfortable in big mountain bike frames. That said, I mounted a few easy ways. Personally, I like to feel as if I am in the bike more that on top of it. (If that makes any sense.) I would not worry about the performance of a broad front based XL frame geometry and proportions. The differences in performance will be very minimal. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable riding the bike. From my personal experience I can say that there is nothing worse than an ill fitting bike. The best advice is both a great ride and an XL and see what feels better given the type of horse you want to do. When riding, I do not mean to take a spin around the parking lot 10 minutes from the bike shop. Take a ride long and hard on each and see what works best on the trails you ride. I hope this help.
