Planning trip to Big Sur/CA Coast – Activities?

Hey guys ! :)
Planning a trip with my boyfriend to spend a couple days along the coast… we’re looking specifically at Big Sur but are open to suggestions of other areas nearby. We are two very active, athletic, outdoorsy people looking to have some fun outside. I know the area is famous for the hiking, scuba/surf, biking, horseback riding, etc., but are there any other activities you guys know of? Ex. rockclimbing, paintballing, zipline, those sorts of things, ETC. We’re not very picky but are looking to fill our itinerary with new and interesting things – any help would be appreciated! Thanks guys! :)

If you are coming by the Santa Cruz area, Castle Rock state park has a couple of good sites for climbing. Goat Rock and the observations deck as well as Castle Rock itself.
If you are sticking to Big Sur you won’t be out of luck. There are a lot of sites that make for good bouldering.

Try Hang Gliding just North of Monterey at Marina Dunes.
Or Skydiving at the Marina Airport.
