I want to cycle long distance to take my computer. What kind of bike I use.?

I want to cycle long distance to Cary all of my computers as a sleeping bag, food, clothing, and possibly a small tent. I prefer to use a bike with thin Weels but am not sure if that is possible.

Yes you can use a type of road bike for travel. There are spaces for motorcycles that are just that. A bicycle tourism specific is very much a road bike. Steel is the favorite material that is comfortable framework for running and binding capacity of racks. The geometry is a little weak for comfort and stability. Normally, a tour will have eyelets for mounting racks, wheels and tires strudier more robust to withstand the added weight and reduce flating. Most will have links in the chain of triples and cassettes wide range of lower leverage as well. Back in the day I visited on my road bike with SEW-ups (not a Tourer) and did it well. I concentrated on a small tent, sleeping bag, etc.
