Where are some trails for downhill mountain biking in Connecticut, perhaps, near Bradford?

Peter Rock in North Haven has a few runs good if you have not been there yet. It's pretty thick with woods, rocks "few" in one of the footpaths, a pleasant crossing water if you arrive at the right time. I thought it was a very difficult climb in some parts, but a good look at the top that can make the job worthwhile if you find the right path. I would suggest that at least a helmet and wear armor if you tend to fall strangely and unusual. Most marked hiking trails, so during his ascent, you can take a look and you know where, when you come rolling at high speed. That's the only trip I have direct knowledge but Branford and North Branford and Wallingford is supposed to have a few trails there, too. I'm not sure what the road is "qualified" like, but I'm fairly new to walk down. I was at a full suspension bike and was very funny, with enough fear for a good first impression.
