Biking Exercise Program

I exercise on a stationary bike and am now experiencing knee pain. Any suggestions for alternative program?
stationary bikes are more prone to knee pain because youre not throwing the bike around under you like a traditional bike…i can ride 60 miles a day, no problem outside, but after one hour on a stationary, my knees kill me…float your feet around the pedals a little to change posions occasionally, make sure youre spinning with the proper leg extention too…a slight bend at the knee at the bottom of the stroke….ask your trainer, hopefully he know a little some about cycling…
