Things to do in Arizona?

I'm going to Arizona to visit my aunts and grandmother. My aunt and I are moving from Phoenix to Flagstaff, but we will also tour the Grand Canyon during my visit. He also spoke of the Devils Bridge in Sedona, Arizona. So we will be in Phoenix, Sedona and Flagstaff. She has lived in this area most of his life for what we are adventurers, looking for things to do off the beaten path. Something fun and exciting. We love hiking in cycling, swimming, outdoor and adventurous, nothing! I have 23 and love parties and fun. My aunt is older than me, but it is definitely the soul of the party!

I think Doug refers to Lake Havasu. You can see the original London Bridge is (is not the Tower Bridge). It's in the AZ – CA border. If you have the time, you may be interested in going through Cameron, AZ on the Navajo reservation. Cameron Trading Post is pretty interesting (If you like Navajo Arts especially). You could also continue east to the Petrified Forest National Park. Very near Flagstaff is Walnut Canyon. It is beautiful and one of the best preserved cliff dwelling places I've seen (in my experience which is rather limited). There is also the Meteor Crater. I have not visited yet, but someday, and Sunset Crater. I'm sure if you look a little you should be able to easily organize a ride in the Coconino National Forest.

Alternatively call will change. Yes, in less than two hours, you can go to I-17 north to Flagstaff, and be in a completely different climate and lifestyle. The first thing you notice is the temperature. It is generally about 30 degrees cooler than Phoenix. What a relief. Not even need air conditioning in Flagstaff. That should tell you something. The next thing you notice is the quality of the air filled with the fresh clean scent of pine. Most people do not complain really look Phoenix, but once you compare the difference will be difficult to reverse.

Things to do in Flagstaff

Flagstaff is a charming town with lots to do. The historic downtown has many shops and restaurants for evening entertainment. There are great cafes that you can relax and read a book or a conversation with another person who crosses the city.

Walking, cycling and golf. Flagstaff is a dream lover of the outdoors. With hiking and biking trails too numerous to mention, many residents and golf courses for the cutting of pine forests will never be a lack things to keep active. For the more adventurous, there is always climbing to the summit of Mt. Humphrey, who is the highest peak in Arizona, or even make drive to the Grand Canyon, just hours away.

Northern Arizona University is located near the center of the city, so we have many activities for visitors and people with local students. One of the main summer activity is the Arizona Cardinals NFL team, the maintenance of training camp Annual NAU campus in August.

Arizona Snow Bowl is the local ski resort and offers some of the best skiing in the State of Arizona. True, just two hours north of Phoenix and you can be on the slopes in winter.

Places to Stay

Yes, there are many hotels Flagstaff. If you go this way, at least stay at the historic Monte Vista in downtown Flagstaff. However, if you want to take the charm and lifestyle of Flagstaff, Rent a cottage look. They offer a lot more experience of hotel rooms cookie cutter.

One last tip. When driving home, take the longer route through Oak Creek Canyon to Sedona. One of the most beautiful albums you'll ever have.
