Biking for Exercise

What specific type of exercise (ie cycling / running) burns more fat per hour?
So … I am very obese guess. 5 feet 6 inches, weighing about 145 pounds I guess. I'll try to lose 15 pounds by the time school starts again. What is the best way I? here are some things that I've thought. bike around the community for the chipotle (almost exactly 10 miles round trip) up and down. 100 squats per day. treadmill sometimes. 3 mph walking uphill. other ideas?
5'6 and 145 pounds is not considered obese. Any regular cardio and sensible habits food will lead to the loss of 15 pounds. Good luck
