Pedaling the bike great for a good cause

Some 25 staff members with a big heart Centenary on 26 June came pedaling a bicycle big American Heart Association, raising a university record $ 6808 in research on heart disease.

The User Group Progress established the Big Bike "Centennial Team" to raise money for charity well known. The team, organized by Michelle Muscatello Senior Financial Officer, meeting at Tucker's Marketplace through the famous walking Ashtonbee Campus Foundation's Big Bike in the neighborhood. The weather was sunny and sticky with a high of 26 degrees.

Centennial Team was the team of top fundraiser in the area of Scarborough and we are waiting to hear from our provincial team classification. Other local businesses participating in the event included Aviva, Cosmetica Laboratories, Wal-Mart, ULC, World Leisure Ellesmere, GE Money and Old Navy Scarborough. The total increase of the day was an amazing $ 21,456.

Centennial Team was the fundraising team higher in the Scarborough area and we are waiting heard of provincial ranking of our team. Other local businesses participating in the event included Aviva, Cosmetica Laboratories, Wal-Mart, ULC, World Leisure Ellesmere GE Money and Old Navy Scarborough. The total increase for the day was an amazing $ 21,456.

Thank you very much to our team members volunteer for their dedication, and thanks to all who supported their efforts with pledges to fund a very worthy cause. Without the big bike, it would be hard to raise awareness heart disease and discovering new treatments and preventive measures for those suffering from heart complications.
