biking in cold weather tips
Slow starts in the winter mornings?

I have a 1985 tri moto 225dx three wheeler and it runs like a champ when its running but as the mornings have been getting colder i am starting to notice that it takes more and more pulls to get her idling. I keep it undercover in my open garage. Ive tried the blanket over the bike to but i cant tell the difference. When its warm it starts first pull every time…so if you have any tip for me to get my bike going a little smoother in the cold weather please let me know….thanks

When it’s cold out,the engines cold inside.fuel/air mix drawn into the intake can condense on the inside of the intake walls, rather than go into the cylinder. This means you get a super rich mixture the second pull.try full choke first pull and no choke second pull.If all the plugs/filters fuel quality is ok then some engines need a bit of choke juggling to find optimum position.
