Museum / Coastal attractions in Italy?

Hi, I'm going to spend 12 days in Italy from 8 May-20 May. My girlfreind and I are creating our budget and now was wondering how, in general, are the museums of the 'touristy' costs. We're flying into Rome, rent a motor bike and will lead throughout Italy, staying in hostels and small hotels that we are on the road. I know this is a broad issue, but I appreciate your help.

There are some really clean cool museums in Rome. It is the Vatican museum where you get to see the Sistine Chapel, that the ticket costs € 14. Then there is the Galleria Borghese, its only € 5 will get to see some really amazing things Caravaggio. Also highly recommend visiting their ascent to the top of the Basilica of St. Peter, you get a view really cool through Rome. OH there is sooo much to see!
