Is it Illegal to sell a motorcycle to somone at the age of 17 in new jersey

Hey, Im 17, i have the money to purchase a motorcycle. My Mother does not want me to purchase this motorcycle. Legally in the great state of new jersey can this man sell me the motorcycle being 17? I understand I cannot register or Insure it unless my mother signs for it or I become 18, but can I purchase the bike?

You can buy anything you want other than items regulated by law cigarettes beer etc. other than that its open game, I don’t know how your mom would react but yeah.. you can buy it, what you can do with it I can’t tell you, better off to wait until your 18 cause all your going to do is look at it until then.

If your mom choses though because you are a minor she can revoke the sale and take it to court the question is… how stubborn is your mom ;0) good luck!
