Rockhopper Comp Disc and Drop / Jump at the bike park?

I have a Rockhopper Comp Disc and want to be able to go to the bike paths and parks Keystone ride. I'm not too worried about screwing my bike but I would like to know what your limitations. I'm 5'7 "145 pounds and I like a little air. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

Keystone mtb park in Colorado? Hmmm ….. many of the trails in Keystone Rockhopper can have your salt as a snack. As the air is, if you're landing on a transition (as most do fall into Keystone) is likely to be 4-5 feet, provided the land with skill. Higher than that and you risk your setting fork, head tube, or crushing wheel (assuming you have wheels available yet.) Bicycles is not made for any of those things, so the air to a minimum …. seriously. If the red shirt is in a lot and I see that you're riding a level rigid input, it will not be very nice …. fair warning. lol. : O) green trails, but still fun easy, so are the ways of fire. Some of the blue trails can be a little vague at speed, especially on a rigid. The first time I went there I was in a 4 "travel Fuel and it was an adventure. 5 "+ bikes are the best, like disc brakes 7" and 8 "rotors. We did some of the black diamond slopes, too, but had to walk several sections of the course. If not busy, feel free to visit the black diamonds, but beware, prepare for frequent dismantling and stay out of structures …. are all too big for your bike will. Be very aware of where it stops and do not stay in the blind spots or at the bottom of the technology sections. Most of the rockets there DH * fast and you may be without notice (seriously. … how about you from outside the air above.) Have fun when you go …. sure to carry spare gloves and wool socks, rain gear, etc. If you want to try a downhill bike rental, there is a shop in town that has (specialized, if I I remember, not too many to choose from). I'm jealous …. I wish I could go this year!
