These days anyone can set themselves as an expert – but very rarely give you a line author and a brief bio so you know their credentials. And when it comes to buying items – you should know the credentials of people advising you have to buy.

How much you spend
Before going out and buying a brand new thousand dollar bike, and a couple of hundred dollars of gear bikes – Shorts, t-shirts, sunglasses and cool – you have to ask … their enthusiasm is going to be the same a year from now?
