Suggestions for good messenger bags?

Okay so I am looking for a messenger bag for hauling stuff when im riding around town on my bike and I would also want something that could carry my books to class. I’ve heard great things about Chrome bags and Timbuk2 bags but are these the only good companies out there? And do you have any suggestions for a good messenger bag or any reviews from a messenger bag that you own?
