Biking Route 66
Need help with the U.S.A, I NEED YOUR HELP!!!!?
I live in the UK and this time next year (in my gap year) i am desperate to journey around the U.S.A with my friend. We are hoping to do a backwards U shape round the u.s.a, starting in New York, going down the East coast and then fly across the country when we get to the south, From the south west we will then travel up the west coast to LA and the final leg of the trip will be route 66.
Can anyone offer any advice? and also can anyone answer these questions.
1. Im 17 and i want to know what age you generally have to be to either drive a car or ride a bike through the u.s.a if i have a International driving pass?
2. am i able to work in the u.s.a while traveling, or is it ilegal?

You can’t rent a car at 17……..you can’t buy a car at 17………you cannot license it or get insurance for it…….
You can’t work without a visa or green card……….
Visitors from the UK do not understand how large this country is…….a bike would be insane……..
