I've been seriously debating this for two years, Suzuki Bandit V-Strom 1250 or 1000?

I almost bought a new bike for two years. Finally, I sick of not buying because I keep flip-throw, and thinking about it, so I must go, the decade of 1250 the bandit or Vstrom? price is the same. Bandit has more power vstroms a dual sport. Bandidos rated a best buy, and is a well-designed bike, but when the last time you saw a used vstrom for sale? Owners love them. My dealer will go lower in the bandit, so I'm guessing dealer cost is lower. Both have their pros and cons. Mainly I will drive short routes around town, occasionally going for trips of several hours. I am a conservative driver, now that I'm getting older, but some of my friends have some very fast walking, and run on tracks. I did not. I know that I'm riding a lot more, so you will probably keep the bike for a number of years. I'm 6'9, 330 lbs (semipro football lineman), will be my fifth bike. Any input is appreciated!

Personally, I like the band for just over the vstrom. However, the size of your I'd say go with the vstrom. I think it would be much more comfortable in it.
