Biking The Oregon Coast
What is the best place to vacation in Oregon with a family in the Summer?
Our kids are 10, 7 and 4 and we are looking to rent a house and do fun things like swimming, biking, hiking, etc. I’ve heard of Sun River as well as the coast, but I’m looking for some local knowledge.
Both of your ideas are great! At the beach you can do fun things like renting bikes, buggies, scooters, or even rollerblades. There are plenty of little downhome shops and restaurants too.
On the other hand, Sunriver is awesome! You can do anything there. They have huge pools, miles of bike trails, beautiful cabins with private hot tubs, and tons more.
I don’t think you could go wrong with either one, but if I had to choose, I would definately pick Sunriver.
