Renting a vespa/moped in?

Hey there! I was wondering if any of you have had experiencing renting one of these fine mobile scooters in Europe–if you have, could you please mention from which country and how much it costed?
My friend and I are vacationing there over the summer, and though we have both been a couple of times, we have yet to ride one of these awesome bikes.
Heck, if you even want to throw in some experiences you have had with them, feel free to!
