What precautions can I ride my bike in the cold winter air?

I'll be riding my bike this winter and need some advice to keep warm and prevent disease through the cold winter air. Particularly in the clothing and shoes / gloves to use. I've been traveling alone with a nice jacket, but my throat has been damaged enough. Thanks for all ur help

The key is many thin layers … cycling clothing is not more thick anyway, so a few layers with a good barrier against the wind (like a good windbreak Pearl Izumi) and the outer layer. I like a Pearl Izumi or base layer Nike, a thick long-sleeved sweater, then jacket cycling or wool coat, jacket. as the other posts mentioned, the head covering with the hull and long finger gloves will help, and remember to wear something out of their shoes (like hot or fillings). You can always remove a layer as the temperature increases or exercise in hot weather.
