With 600 miles of trails, no wonder why Winter Park has gained the title of "Mountain Bike Capital USA". The station is only 50 miles one-way road access via chair lifts and marked with signs identifying skill level. Once at the top of the lifts you may want to leave the stain of a quick bite to eat while enjoying the 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains. From there you can choose to run like the upper Arapahoe, the complex race course downhill, or wind along the road for a distance of 7 miles rookie.
In the Fraser Valley can enjoy the wildlife trails Rocky Mountain, while cradled by spectacular mountain views all around. The roads are still babbling brooks, glide through meadows of flowers wild and walk up the steep mountains.

Repairs, rentals and shops are easy to find, if you are at the resort, or downtown Winter Park. Also can find a variety of restaurants and bars with food that is as good as it is diverse.
Music sounds better with a backdrop, the Cordillera Central, and you may find yourself, as there are music festivals and concerts happening almost every weekend during the summer. Events like the Jazz Festival and Festival Food, wine and beer may require advance planning to stay in Winter Park.
