3. Go bird and animal observation. Most forest parks and camping sites have brochures and leaflets on different types of animals that can be found around the area you are viewing and worth looking out. A funny thing to do is buy books on wild animals before your camping trip and a game with your kids and see who can detect the earliest animals. Just make sure you keep their children to a safe distance.

4. Playing outdoor games like Tug-o-war or the classic sack race or just plain label. Kids love these games, especially when playing these games in the woods. Make sure you are playing in an open area to avoid unwanted accidents and also avoid making noises that might disturb other campers and especially the wildlife.

5. Go on a treasure hunt. Who does not love to follow such quests and adventures. What is good in a scavenger hunt is that it is physics, which means that you and your children will have to exercise while fun at the same time.
