3) The whey protein - While whey protein can obviously be used in protein shakes, can also use it to "balance" a heavy carbohydrate diet. One of the keys to good performance nutrition is eating a little protein lean with every meal. By throwing some whey protein in some Kashi cereal or take a portion of it with a serving of whole grain pasta can convert carb heavy meals nutritionally balanced meals.

4) Kefir – The superfood is a type of yogurt as steroids. Kefir is over all things that make great yogurt. The 10 active cultures in it are great for the digestive system and know quite well. You can kefir find in most food stores and is being shown in most supermarkets as well.

Sure, you can spend much money on luxury recovery drinks but I'm sure you will get much most of them to a cup of orange juice and half a tablespoon of whey protein. Ground flax seeds have some unique properties that make it more valuable than oil in my opinion. To begin is a great source of fiber, something we all can use more. Secondly, it binds to compounds estrogen in the body and inhibits them from screwing with our hormone systems. Stuff for your information, estrogenic compounds are environmental we eat that mimic the female hormone estrogen in the body. Since a lot of people have allergies to wheat gluten and provides a good source of carbohydrates free of these two elements. It is also the only grain in the world with a complete protein, meaning that all essential amino acids are there. Add it all and should be a staple in the kitchen any mountain bike.
Â
10) The lean red meat - Yeah baby, I said – the rocks of red meat! Seriously, we have canine teeth for a reason and that reason is because they were designed to eat meat. Lean red meat will provide protein and some CLA (a fatty acid only and powerful) and a little saturated fat (which is not as bad as you may think and is actually needed by the body). Besides that just tastes good. What says summer more a wrapper of a sweet ride with some burgers or steaks on the grill?
