How To Burn Calories Biking

How many calories am I burning biking?
I ride my bike everyday to work. I ride on the sidewalks and the streets are really crowded, so I can’t bike fast; it takes me about half an hour each direction. So the total is 8.6 km (about 5.3 miles) in an hour. The websites that offer calorie burned calculators won’t calculate this because the biking is too slow for them…
Bear in mind that ANY calorie estimate is far too inaccurate to be of much use. Individual variations in efficiency and metabolism make sure of that.
Bike commuting is a great idea for a lot of reasons. Be satisfied with that.
