Is Running Better Than Biking

Exercise Mountain Biking is great and a lot of fun … and although it is hard on the legs, it is difficult on the machine itself. Maintenance your bike will be kept safe, and keep the bike in the best position for the coming years. There are three basic time frames for maintaining your bike:
– Just before mounting,
– Immediately after mounting,
– Long-term storage and repairs.
Just before leaving, Bicycle maintenance is quite simple: Check the tire pressure, fill them up to the level you are comfortable with and so on. Sure that the seat is tilted at the correct angle, make sure the quick release levers are tight wheels, and run the pedals with his hands to ensure that the diverter is working clearly. Its aim is to ensure that if something is going to need attention, it is now, instead of after you're in the road.
After the ride, especially if it is wet or mud, you should put the bike upside down (so it is balanced on the seat and the handlebars), and run a damp cloth for Change, and other moving parts that shift the chain around to change gear. The goal is to get the mud, branches and brambles out before they provide an avenue for moisture to enter. This is also the time to pop the wheels and clean before throwing the bike in the car to go home.
After getting the bike home, give everything a thorough cleaning. If you use a dry lube the chain once a month, breaking the chain and reapply. (Regularly boil our bicycle chains in paraffin, but that is because traveling in the winter, and holds up better in the snow and salt). It's also probably time to take things are only partially separated, the limits of their abilities and put them back together, which is ideal for adjusting the shock absorber systems (and get rid of squeaks bothersome), and cables brake adjustment, inspection of brake pads, etc..
Mountain bikes in routine use to get a good amount of wear. Always check to make sure that things are setting properly when you're off the bike and have it at home, again, the goal is to find something that could break and fix it before going on the road instead of having their fun limited by lack of equipment.
If you are not a cyclist of all time (and not much people), its value carrying out some steps to prepare the bike for storage and take it out on the road again in spring.
First, by storing bike, take the wheels off and hang the picture. When the wheels are out, its worth running inside the tubes through a bucket of soapy water to locate leaks slow and the patch, and its value adjustment and fine tuning everything that can go.
A good book for this process is the complete manual of bicycle repair, we use in our shop to get the bikes ready for sale. It is also a good time for his true wheels with a radio key. (Some mountain bikers dedicated their true wheels after every trip …)
When you're putting the bike back on technical standards, the priority is to control the break, followed by running the gear changes – cable boxes may change when the bike is in storage, which can make things a little noisier than they should be. (Remember, if it comes to making noise, then the parts that probably should not be rubbing, are rubbing.)
With this advice, you should be well established for the fun of mountain biking!
