Things to do in Maui, please help?

My family, a girl of nine years of age, children under 12 years of age and 14 years of age and mom and Dad are going to maui for the first time. and we have reserved a bike tour, diving trip, and a canopy tour. We do not want to do excursions and other things have to drive musems around and see. Is there something we do while we're there. as things I can not do at home? (We live in Florida for the beach). as things that if we do not will be greatly disapponted. thanks in advance.

How long the tank as tour guides protocol?

I am a good tipper and I want to reward good service. I a bike tour on Maui a few years ago and a tip of $ 20. They have done a lot for us and help establish and maintain our bikes and that takes us. However, Many of these bus trips are demanding tips. We recently went to 3:00 (which ended up being a time 5) tour bus. The guy did not more drive around us. We pay $ 95 for this visit which was very expensive to start. The driver had the courage to ask and Tip Tip us this would suggest Send to a boy. We traveled throughout Europe and Asia, and no tour guides have already requested or indirectly asked tip. I noticed in the United States, tour guides are now openly asking for advice.
