Boulder is ssometimes referred to as the cycling mecca of the united states. There are more professionals and former professionals living in the boulder area than pretty much anywhere else in the US. Excel sports has their headquarters there and Performance bike has a huge retail store there. Boulder has been repeatedly voted ‘the most cycling friendly city in the US’. I was there on business for a week a few years ago and fell in love with the place.

Why am I telling you this? Because there are thousands of avid cyclists in boulder who can show you trails all over boulder and the surrounding countryside.
