Mountain Biking Boulder Colorado

I’m currently in WI, but want to move to Colorado in a few years, any suggestions for starting out?

I’m a 23 year old college student and I want to move to Colorado in a few years. I was thinking either Boulder or Louisville (topped Money Magazine’s list of small towns in the U.S.)

I’m actually from a very small town in southeastern MN (3,200 people), and go to school in WI, so I’m used to the cold and snow-but I’d like it a bit warmer-but still keeping all 4 seasons. I’ve always loved the idea of the mountains and I love camping and biking.

So I was just wondering what people think of Boulder and/or Louisville, and if they have any suggestions for someone just starting out and trying to make it….

Boulder is a beautiful city, but very expensive. Louisville is much smaller but very close to Boulder, so you might be able to enjoy Boulder’s close proximity to the mountains.

My wife and I moved to Colorado from Wisconsin 2 years ago, and we love it. We’re in Colorado Springs. We like it here because it’s so close to the mountains, more affordable than Boulder, and its central location in the state makes it easy to take road trips all over Colorado.

Overall, the weather and activities here are far superior to Wisconsin or Minnesota. We love to camp too, and the best part–virtually no mosquitoes!!!

Good luck if you decide to move. I think you’ll love it.
