What is best for hiking and cycling? Park Death Valley National or phoenix arizona?

my bf and I plan some walks and cycling (road and mountain) between 13 March and 21 March. What is best to fly to Las Vegas and driving to Death Valley National Park, or simply fly to Phoenix, Arizona, and by checking the parks there.

Death Valley would be your best bet, but you may want to think in Canon City, CO or Buena Vista, CO if the destination is not important …. Colorado Springs, CO is also an excellent area for hiking and biking, and Colorado Springs will more than meet any of the other options have been offered … Check out Colorado Springs and surrounding areas, but stay away from Denver, unless you like hiking and cycling in a jungle cement, so to speak ….
