Any1 know how to get a good deal on mtn bikes?

I live in Portland Oregon and I want a specialized hardrock mountain bike. How do I get the best price? Is there a place to buy the bike wholesale? any bike shops you know of that offer good deals? any other bike you would advize me to buy?

I would keep scanning the bike listings on Craigslist. You are bound to find a crackhead deal sooner or later. When you find a good bike at the right priice jump on it. Don’t ask the seller a bunch of questions or ask him to email you pictures just say when can I come over and say I have cash. I got a great bike with full xtr parts and after market goodies for $250 bucks.
