Petals Shoes Mountain Bike w <$ 125?

I'm relatively new to mountain biking, you have a decent bike, helmet, tools, know some good roads, etc etc. If someone can recommend some good brands / combo / etc for a mountain shoe clip hybrid petals I can still use the shoes for just walking around the city, I really appreciate that. (Also some information trail / path sites / etc for the western New York would be awesome)
