What to do in Summit County September 17-21?

I will be staying in Dillon, CO this weekend and I’m kind of bummed to learn that most summer activities have shut down at all of the area ski resorts. I’m looking into renting a 4×4 Jeep and driving some trails, hiking, mountain biking at Winter Park, and hitting up the bars / casinos in Blackhawk. Does anyone have any other suggestions on what to do in Summit County or nearby at this time of year?

Georgia pass is a good one. Also there is one that heads up from George Town above the lake. I can’t remember the name. Not Guenola Pass. Also, from the sand dunes there is a 4WD road that goes through the mountains. Can’t remember that name either but it has about 5 or 6 creek crossings. I haven’t owned a truck in 4 years. Most gas stations carry a 4WD book and are easy to follow. Well worth the $12. And you can see some really cool stuff for sure. Stay out of Mine shafts… you’lll probably just die if you go in them… so don’t.. as titillating as they may be.
