What age should I be to get a motorcycle and is it worth having one?

If I get accepted to ODU in Virginia Beach, I would like to own a bike to have there because it could save gas and I wouldn’t be driving long distances all the time (Only when I come home in Northern Virginia on the holidays). Should I be physically large to have to drive a motorcycle?

You can get a bike at 18 anywhere, no problem. Virginia Beach, doesn’t get too cold, but it is rainier than I care for. About 30% rainy days. You might consider a scooter for the splash protection on wet streets. A 150 would be able to take you home on back roads in under 6 hours ride time. A 250 could take the Interstate. You do not have to be physically large to ride. Lots of women in the 5′ – 5’6″ range ride motorcycles.
