Does anyone know if it is safe for me to do or spinning x-bike during pregnancy?
I just found out I'm pregnant (I'm about to over three weeks). I've always done some form of exercise, but during the last two years I love spinning. Today I started making x-bike, which is an excersice like spinning, but including the upper body of work with the bike handles. Anyway, I want to continue to exercise because I want to bounce back to my pre-baby body fast, and want to know whether or spinning x-bike is safe to do during pregnancy.
I exercised through my pregnancy, but with some restrictions. Ask your doctor about what changes should be made to your exercise routine and when you are pregnant. You do not want to do anything to put your baby at risk. It was difficult for me to adjust my routine and slow down a bit. I did my doctor as much as possible at the beginning, and I was still doing a lot of walking / duck in the when I was 9 months pregnant. Two things to consider to get your pre-baby body back: 1. Not having an excessive amount of weight during pregnancy. Your doctor will tell you what a safe weight gain for their circumstances, but is generally 20 to 30 pounds. 2. If you are planning to breastfeed, it's great for the baby and has the benefit additional help you drop the baby weight. Just keep in mind that I am slowly putting on weight over 9 months and magically disappear when you do not give birth. I had to keep reminding myself that losing weight would be a gradual process, but went back to my pre-pregnancy weight in about 3 months.
