Is it possible to economically modify a motorcycle helmet or if I'll be better to buy a new one?

I have a full GT2 Bell helmet bought in 1987 for $ 225. It is nothing bad about it, except that the interior lining has dried. All rubber, plastic and straps are in excellent conditions. It has air outlets and most of the features available in the newer helmet. It has never been in any accident or impact. The painting is still in very good condition. I am not cheap. I just hate to throw away something that can be used. I have additional new helmets that match my bike. This helmet does not match what I left use. One of my friends has asked to be used all-terrain (ATV) riding. Not want to give them if unsure.

ok I'm new to this, I would first like petrol karts, but I have some questions to 1.can throw out the route 2.The road because it is a good cc and BHP 3.Can thick tires to use for dirt 4.What is good to come with me to get a go kart or quad bike 5.should other suggestions please put through
