San Francisco is not the most bike friendly city though. The streets are narrow. The hills are serious business (and can cause some pretty nasty spills). And the drivers, well, they’re impatient and mean.

If you do decide to ride on the street, I’d stick to wide, flat roads like Market Street, Sunset Boulevard, and The Embarcadero.
