Road Biking Workouts

Do you have a bicycle / regular cycle (road / off-road)?

I'm really anxious to buy a bike because I love the outdoors and I think is fun. but the rational exercise, is it effective? how much or how fast you need to mount to make it an effective body workout? my trouble spots are upper body, so I'm nervous that despite having fun, I lean to the areas that need thinning! Any idea has to be big …

Cycling may or may not help you achieve your overall goals, but could be an important part of an overall exercise plan. The weight loss attributed to a reduction body fat is a full body experience. That is, not "reduce" or reduce an area over another. So when you exercise either on a bike an hour or more – is recommended minimum times for the impact aerobics – or do upper body exercises in the gym, you will see a reduction of body fat stored throughout the body. Now the development of the muscles of the bike will actually improve the tone of your legs, buttocks, etc. Here is a help with MTB upper body much more than a road bike if you really ride it on trails and off-road. They now need to use your upper body entier of lats to deltoid, tris and chest to help control and balance the bike to learn to fight your way through the "fun things." A lot of my friends are cycling Trail with the angels. Feel free to visit their website and ask some of them about riding. They are big promoters of MTB riding. http://www.trailangels.com / Personally, as a long road cyclist I'd like to see more people riding down the road, but for someone just entering the sport and taking their wishes into account specific training I would recommend a mountain bike. As for speed – Forget it. Everyone climbs up the hill slowly. Some more than others. Just find a good group to hang out with and have a blast. The fitness will come. JP
