Shifting Gears Biking
When you shift "up" a cog in the chain moves up the gears before but down rear gears. Why?

With a configuration of bicycle gears there are two marches, a large gear on the front of the bike, and a small cog in the rear. When I switch from "up" (to make it harder to pedal) the chain moves up the front, but the rear gear marches. Why Why? Should not they both move in the same direction?

The reason is because on the train before doing the pedal directly into the teeth. When the teams biggest move in the chain every time you press down. On the back it works in reverse, which is connected directly to the wheel. If the rear sprocket is larger, the chain is used to move the wheel "x" amount, compared to the percentage of the string is used to move the wheel of the same amount with a smaller sprocket. It's harder when you have to move more of the essence because the chain so no power Free! You are in motion, so more work has to be put in. The site referred to can help you visualize.

Mountain Bike skills you need before attempting to Mountain Bike

Anyone can ride a bike mountain biking. There are dangers mountain biking, compared with the standard bicycle. It is for this reason that mastering the following beginner mountain bike skills is a must before taking off for your mountain bike.

Try a great team "It is difficult to pedal, but at a faster pace than riding

Try Low start pedaling easy, useful, while in the hills

Try to change before reaching the hill, "This is important because it is easy overcome a change before the hill than it is, while on the hill.

Why change gears on my bike when I do not want?

I just bought a new Schwinn mountain bike and I noticed a problem with him. Each time you change gear, which takes a few seconds before it actually seems to change, then go back and fourth between the two gears (one I was and I was shifterd) while pedaling. What should I do?

I suppose the chain is the dance between the two gears when you are trying to change down (easier) art. In most all bikes, switching to a lower gear lever to the speed necessary to increase the tension on the wire "pattern" appears on the largest sprocket. If settings are not done properly during assembly or the cable is "stretched" a bit during their first visits, you can expect that to happen … regardless of quality components. To correct yourself, find the adjusting screw-in rear derailleur. This adjustment screw on the derailleur and works to increase or decrease the amount voltage cable. On the left, the tensor (which looks to change) allows you to increase the voltage to note that some of the slack that is the cause of their problem travel. Make your settings in a fraction of a turn (1 / 8 or 1 / 4) at a time until you get the marked change in.
